Pillars of Pride

Join the Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus for a family-friendly event, presented by Amanda Edwards, celebrating womxn in leadership who have made significant contributions to The Caucus. Bring the kiddos, the adopted kin, chosen family, relatives — sisters, not just cisters — extended loved ones, and folx from your tribe for fresh summer festivities.
Activities include: interactive art, dance, music, face painting, caricatures, Drag Queen Story Time, and all the gram worthy photos! Participate with our visual artists and dancers to create works at the event. Find the perfect art piece or your new favorite restaurant at our silent auction. Share your stories and history with The Caucus, the LGBTQ+ community and the equality movement.
Dress for a garden party and join us for beer from Eureka Heights Brewery, savory treats, popsicles from All We Need Farm, and all the fun we can cram into two hours.
