Families with Pride

Families with Pride is back! Hosted by Council Member Abbie Kamin in partnership with the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, we invite you to join in the fun on June 1 from 8:30-11:30am. This year, Council Member Kamin and the Chamber are teaming up with Discovery Green® for an even bigger and better celebration for Houston’s families.

This exciting family-friendly event is dedicated to LGBTQIA+ children, families, and allies as part of Houston’s Pride Month festivities. Activities will include lively entertainment, a reading room, children’s story time, food trucks, face painting, games, a History of Pride installation, interactive art projects, all that the Discovery Green® playgrounds and water installations have to offer, and much more!
