ABOUT US

The Caucus is a dynamic, membership-driven political organization with its leadership answering to the members. Seeking to influence policies and politicians in the greater Houston area, the Caucus works with candidates and politicians to develop positive LGBTQ+ policies and legislation. An all-volunteer organization, members work to screen candidates, decide on endorsements, and staff election sites encouraging the support of endorsed candidates.

The Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus general meetings occur every first Wednesday of the month at the Montrose Center, 401 Branard (unless otherwise announced) with refreshments and socializing at 6:30 pm and the meeting beginning at 7 pm. All are welcome.

In order to vote on agenda items and endorsements, an individual needs to be a member in good standing and current in their paid dues. Join the Caucus today.
