Join the Caucus or Renew Your MembershipThank you for considering joining the more than 700 others who are members of the South's oldest GLBT civil rights organization. Joining is as simple as clicking the button to the right and using a credit card to pay member dues. If you prefer to pay by check, please download and complete our membership form, then mail it in with your payment. You can also pay in person with cash or check at any regular Caucus meeting. Member dues are collected annually based on the day you join or renew your membership. Only dues paid members have voting privileges at meetings, and you must be a member in good standing for at least 30 days before voting privileges are granted. | |
Frequently Asked Questions:Q: Is my membership payment tax-deductible? A: Membership is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution, but may possibly be deducted as a business expense, depending on your personal situation. Q: Will my name show up on a public report? A: No. The Caucus is a 501(c)4 non-profit corporation - membership dues and contributions to the organization are not subject to Texas Ethics Commission (TEC) filing requirements. Only contributions to our Political Action Committee have to be reported to the TEC. |
