The Houston GLBT Political Caucus will have our monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 4, 7 pm.

A reception will be held prior to the meeting, starting at 6:30.

Project OutVote

The Houston GLBT Political Caucus is proud to announce The 2008 Outvote Kick Off Party.

This exciting event will mark the beginning of a new era for young GLBT people and the The Caucus. With this free event The Caucus plans to extend a welcome to the GLBT millennial generation and recruit volunteers for the upcoming OutVote Voter Registration Project.

Set to take place on May 24th at Tony’s Corner Pocket, 817 W. Dallas, it will include an exciting line up including Ms. Selena St. John as the Hostess of the evening and Houston’s very own electronica pop star Royal Lush. Festivities are set to begin at 7:30; this is an event not to be missed. Anyone and everyone over the age of 18 are welcome to join us for a free night of fun and celebration. Vagina Monologues The Vagina Monologues-with a twist! In a unique twist and in celebration of the 10th anniversary of this theatrical phenomenon, the production will be performed by members of Houston’s transgender community. The production will open May 9th and run thru May 31st.

Queer Voices Locally produces public affairs radio show for the GLBT community. Including weekly news program This Way Out. Mondays, 8 pm to 10 pm, KPFT 90.1 FM. After Hours After Hours provides a permanent voice for the various GLBT communities with its varied co-hosts. Features include a News and Views segment and music by GLBT artists throughout the show. Saturdays, 1 am to 4 am, KPFT 90.1 FM.
